Meet the Jordins

…or rather, meet Lilly since she is really the star of this post.

It’s been quite awhile since I’ve taken some photos for someone other than myself, so when the opportunity to shoot a few family photos for my co-worker Bryan and his family came around, I graciously accepted. I met up with the family early on a Saturday morning and spent  a good hour chasing their toddler Lilly around the house. With her being the youngest “client” I’ve ever photographed, I came into the whole shoot a little uneasy with how I’d keep her attention. Luckily I had the help of her two great parents and I think we came away with some great photos. Slideshow after the break.

Holiday Fun

So it’s been quite awhile since I’ve posted my last photo update but things have been fairly chaotic, however, it’s a new year with plenty of fun things ahead at HbA. For this particular update I turned the lens onto my company holiday party. Unlike most photographers I hold a nine to five job (which I enjoy quite a bit if my bosses are reading) and do most of my shooting on the side so when the two came together it definitely started a few conversations around the office. Thanks to all who participated in the “photo booth” and thanks for smiling big for the camera, now on to the photos!

Summer fun

Like I mentioned in the last post I’ve been pretty busy this summer so photos like these have been pushed to the side to take on other projects. However, I’ve always been a firm believer in the phrase “better late than never” so here goes.

College road trips were something I never had the opportunity to do while I was in school. Between classes and the few jobs I held down around campus, finding the time to jump into a car with a roommate or two just never happened — until now. My good friend, former roommate and college buddy Allston called me up with a simple proposition: A road trip to St. Louis, Missouri with good food, drinks and music as the only pursuits.

How could I say no?
