Maine(ly) living it up

I've never really understood why people rant and rave about how great the New England region is until last weekend — Simply put, it rocks.

I was invited to spend the weekend in Portland with some amazing people and in only a few short days I was really digging the atmosphere. People were friendly, summer weather was spectacular, lobster was incredible and the sights were breathtaking. Did I mention the lobster was incredible? I spent my weekend with my gracious hosts Mark, Aimee, their two incredible daughters and Nana "poopie" who took the time to show me what Maine was all about.
