Seeing the light

While waiting for a midnight movie I took it upon myself to waste some time snap a few photos. The subject was tucked away in the garage and given that it was close to 10 p.m., I thought it’d be best to play with off camera flash.

A little fine art

Awhile back ago I was invited to the senior art show of a friend at the Moon Gallery. I’m usually not one for fine art but her and her husband have been big supporters of me so why not return the favor. Besides, I was tempted with the promise of free juice and cookies (I’m fairly easy to please) and those are just way too hard to turn down. What I ended up seeing was some truly amazing and thoughtful work. I even wanted to take a piece home with me, but sadly it already had a new home to go to, so the pictures will just have to do.

An afternoon at the barn

A couple of weeks ago I went out to the Gunby equine center at Berry College for my first trail ride. Frankly, I was a little reluctant as I had never really ridden a horse but my ‘teachers’ assured me it would be fine. The girls I rode with were especially helpful and kept their first timer jokes down to a minimum. It ended up being great fun and I hope to ride again soon.


After the ride Sarah, Rachel and Casey (my wonderful teachers) treated me to a quick demonstration of what they do best.
